Terms

Terms of service.

The rules of the road for using freewebsiteaudit.ai. Written plainly so you don't need a lawyer to understand them. If anything is unclear, email us and we'll explain.

Plain summary

You give us a URL. We audit it. You get a score and a PDF. Free at the base tier; paid tiers add depth. We are honest about what each tier delivers, we offer refunds on every paid tier, and we will not sell your data. Use the service for sites you own or have permission to audit. Do not break it deliberately or use it to harass anyone.

The rest of this document is the legally enforceable version of that.

What the words mean

We, us, our
Wingenious Ltd, the operator of freewebsiteaudit.ai.
You, your
The person or organisation using the service.
The service
The freewebsiteaudit.ai website, the audit application, the PDF reports we produce, and any related Wingenious products we describe on the site.
An audit
A single run of our automated tool against a URL you submit, producing a Web Health Score and a PDF report.
The methodology
The Web Health Score methodology, published openly and referenced from every audit.

The service

We provide an automated, AI-assisted website audit. The audit is delivered against the methodology we publish. We aim to be available 24/7 with at least 99.5% monthly uptime, but the service is not warranted to be uninterrupted or error-free.

We may change, improve, or remove features at any time. Where a change materially reduces what you receive on a paid tier, we will tell you and offer a pro-rata refund if you have already paid.

Who can use this

You must be 18 or older to use the service. By submitting a URL you confirm that:

  • You own the site, or you have permission from the owner to audit it
  • You are not using the service to harass, threaten, or defame anyone
  • You are not violating any law in your country or in the UK

We do not police submissions, but we will remove an audit and ban the submitter on receiving a credible complaint from a site owner whose site was audited without permission. See the privacy policy for how we handle that.

Fair use and rate limits

The free tier has rate limits to keep the service usable for everyone:

  • 3 free audits per IP address per 24 hours
  • 5 lifetime free audits per email address
  • Same URL audited within 7 days returns the cached result

Attempting to evade rate limits is a breach of these terms. So is automated scripting against the service, scraping our results in bulk, or reselling our audits without an explicit white-label agreement.

Payment and refunds

Paid audits are charged via Stripe before the audit runs. Prices include UK VAT where applicable. Each paid tier has a written guarantee:

  • Starter (£49): full refund within 14 days if the audit does not produce £49 of value in the prioritised action list.
  • Pro (£149): full refund within 30 days if the 90-day roadmap does not produce at least one specific change you intend to make.
  • Sprint (£497): full refund (including the Pro tier underneath) if you do not leave the call with a specific implementation priority and clear next steps.

Refunds are processed via the original payment method within 5 working days of approval. Refunds do not affect any consulting introductions already made.

Your content and our results

You retain ownership of your website and any content we crawl from it. By submitting a URL, you grant us a limited licence to crawl the site, store the crawled content for the duration of the retention period stated in the privacy policy, and use it to produce your audit report.

The audit results, score, PDF report, and any commentary we add are produced by our service and the methodology we own. You receive a perpetual licence to use the report for your own business purposes (internal review, sharing with your team, sharing with a contractor implementing the work). You may not republish the report or its findings publicly without our written permission.

The Web Health Score methodology itself is open and freely citable. The score that your audit produced is yours to share. The report layout, prose, scoring engine, and benchmark dataset are ours.

Intellectual property

The freewebsiteaudit.ai name, the Web Health Score name, the Inkwell visual identity, the agent personas (Scout, Sprint, Compass, Lens, Anchor, Beacon, Brief), and the methodology document are property of Wingenious Ltd. All rights reserved.

The methodology itself is published openly and may be cited with attribution. The supporting code, prompts, datasets, and visual treatments are not licensed for reuse without a written agreement.

Liability and warranties

We will deliver the service with reasonable skill and care. We make no warranty that running an audit will produce particular business outcomes (better rankings, more enquiries, higher revenue). The audit is a diagnostic; what you do with it is what produces the outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the audit in question, or (b) £100. We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law (death, personal injury, fraud, etc.).

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. Where the breach is minor and remediable, we will give you reasonable notice to fix it. Where the breach is severe (harassment, fraud, automated abuse), we may suspend immediately.

You may stop using the service at any time. You may delete your account from the account settings; the consequences for stored data are described in the privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We update these terms as the product changes. Material changes are notified by email to registered users and via a prominent notice on the site. Previous versions are archived and available on request.
